Wine Advocate 90 Tasted single blind against its peers. The Rayne-Vigneau appears to be improving as the months tick by. It has a tightly coiled but well-defined nose that offers quince and dried honey aromas. The palate is well-balanced and displays charming purity, and the mischievous spice/ginger note on the entry segues into a botrytis-rich, marmalade finish with crisp acidity. It shows good persistency in the mouth and great elegance.
